Why this project exists
Most sensitivity converters are fast to use but opaque about their data. This project takes the opposite starting point: the method, the data standard and the limitations should be visible before a result is trusted.
Principles
- Game records are loaded from a maintained sensitivity database.
- Every record should have a source, version, mode and update date.
- Unsupported conversions are labelled, and fallback assumptions are disclosed.
- The interface distinguishes sensitivity, DPI, eDPI and cm/360 instead of treating them as the same quantity.
- FOV, ADS and scope behavior are not shown as working controls until they are implemented and tested.
What the project does not do
- It does not require an account.
- It does not serve advertisements or sell visitor data.
- It does not transmit your sensitivity numbers or calculator inputs to any server.
- It does not use game logos or stock imagery.
- It does not promise an identical aim feel across games.
